Diana Shaw
US Virtual Cohort Director
Diana serves as the US Virtual Cohort Director for Resource Global, where she leads the planning and implementation of RG's cohort program across the United States. In this role, she builds and sustains relationships across key US cities – identifying mentors, teachers, and cohort candidates, cultivating partnerships, and connecting alumni to one another and to the broader RG network. Partnering closely with the RG global team and the President of Resource Global, Diana contributes to the strategic growth and fundraising efforts that advance Resource Global's mission of equipping the next generation of marketplace and ministry leaders.
Diana's entrepreneurial passions run deep. Outside of her role at Resource Global, she is co-founder and CEO of Opto AI, an AI-powered financial coaching platform for couples, and co-Executive Director of Generosity: Bay Area (GBA), a faith-based nonprofit cultivating transformative generosity in the Bay Area. She earned her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where she deepened her early-stage startup experience through venture capital and pre-seed work before joining a real estate investment firm. Prior to Booth, she built her analytical foundation in strategy and finance roles at Deloitte and Capital One. Diana holds a BA in Economics with a focus on international development from Harvard College – a foundation that continues to shape her conviction that capital and entrepreneurship can be powerful forces for human flourishing.
Diana grew up in Florida and has called Washington D.C., Chicago, and now San Francisco home. She is lucky to be married to her husband, Yesuto, and has two cats. Outside of work, you'll find her at an improv class, running, or tracking down a great cup of coffee. She is passionate about her local church community, where she leads the prayer and hospitality ministries and is actively engaged in a pastoral training program.
