What does it look like to live on mission right where God has placed you?
In this episode of UpNext, Tommy Lee sits down with Andrew Scott, author of Scatter and founder of Scatter Global, for a conversation about faith, work, and the changing landscape of the global church.
Andrew shares the experiences that challenged his traditional understanding of missions and led him to see everyday followers of Jesus, including business leaders, entrepreneurs, engineers, doctors, and professionals, as vital participants in God’s work around the world. Tommy and Andrew discuss the importance of empowering local leaders, shifting power away from Western-led models, building relationships rooted in trust, and creating sustainable approaches that allow leaders to serve and transform their own communities.
They also explore why the workplace matters to our calling, what the story of David can teach us about using the skills God has already given us, and why serving God doesn’t require becoming a pastor or missionary.
Tune in now to be encouraged to see your work, calling, and everyday influence in a new way!
