Al Barth

Executive Director, City to City North America
Director of Church Planting and Pastor of Discipleship, Spanish River Church

Al Barth is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in America and a visionary leader in the field of church planting and pastoral ministry. As one of the founders of Redeemer City to City, he has played a pivotal role in advancing the mission of training and equipping church planters worldwide. Al has planted four churches, granting him a profound understanding of the challenges and needs that church planters and their congregations face. He is not only a seasoned pastor but also a dedicated coach, trainer, and mentor to numerous global church planters, providing invaluable guidance and support. Al's influence extends across continents as he oversees the work of City to City in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. His commitment to fostering vibrant, gospel-centered communities has made a significant impact on church planting efforts in these regions.

In his most recent role, Al Barth serves as the Executive Director of City to City North America, where he is entrusted with leading a fellowship of churches dedicated to urban church planting. Additionally, he holds the position of Director of Church Planting and Pastor of Discipleship at Spanish River Church in Boca Raton, FL.  He and his wife, Rene, have three adult children and are grandparents to ten grandchildren.

 

Andrew Kamau

Data Scientist, United Health Group

Andrew was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya, and immigrated to the USA in 2000 to attend The University of Michigan. He currently works as a Principal Consultant for Optum and as a part-time adjunct professor of business statistics, at the College of Business and Technology at Northeastern Illinois University. He currently lives in Chicago with his wife and two daughters and serves as an elder at his local church.

Elmer Huh

Chief Investment Officer, The M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust

Elmer has more than 20 years in the field of public/private equity and alternative investing and joined the Trust at Ernst & Young Capital Advisors in New York City, where he served as Senior Vice President of investment banking and alternative asset managers. He serves actively on the boards of international and local non-profit organizations and enjoys coaching sports, teaching and traveling. Elmer, his wife Esther, and two of their three children live in the Vancouver area.

 

Keri-Leigh Paschal

Executive Head of Mergon Integrate

Keri-Leigh Paschal is the Executive Head of Mergon Integrate, which comprises The Nation Builder Trust and Ziwani initiative. Mergon seeks to encourage effective stewardship of businesses to restore dignity and build a just society. Through regular engagements with media and the business community, Keri works to inspire and strengthen a culture of partnership between businesses, communities, civil society and government in building a more prosperous future for South Africa.

Prior to joining the Mergon Group, Keri held marketing and development roles in both London and South Africa. She completed her post-graduate studies in biochemistry at University of Pretoria, where she specialized in HIV research. She also initiated and led a national drive to raise awareness for autism in South Africa. Keri and her husband love to travel and enjoy all the outdoor sporting opportunities Cape Town has to offer.

 

Ling Kung Joe

National Director, Technology Innovation
Kaiser Permanente

Ling Kung Joe leads Care Delivery Technology innovation for Kaiser Permanente and loves working at the intersection of design, technology, and healthcare to bring creative solutions to market in service of improving the total experience of members and clinicians. She has worked across a broad spectrum of roles at Kaiser Permanente, and prior to her work there, she was a management consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers. She holds an M.B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor’s degree in biology and finance from Washington University in St. Louis. Ling has a passion for mentoring and discipleship – especially in faith at work. She was a board member for 4Word (a Christian women’s business organization) in San Francisco and a small group leader and area mentor at RealitySF. In her spare time, Ling can be found making purees for her new son, dreaming of an international trip, or enjoying the outdoors.

 

Marissa Maren

New Business and Strategy, Busana Apparel Group
Director of the Kingdom Entrepreneurship Academy
Resource Global alumna

Born into a multicultural family, with an Irish-American mother and an Indian-Indonesian father, Marissa has lived half of her life in Indonesia and the other half in the United States. On both sides of the world, Marissa finds energy in using business as a vehicle for shining God’s light and truth into the world. At Busana Apparel Group in Indonesia, a family business that employs more than 25,000 people, Marissa develops new business opportunities and drives corporate strategy. Prior to working with Busana Apparel Group in Jakarta, Marissa worked for Barclays Capital in their investment banking division and Lehman Brothers, both in New York. Marrissa began to actively pursue faith and work integration in 2008 and continues to do so to-date. She was a Gotham Fellow in Redeemer Presbyterian Church’s Center of Faith and Work, and in Jakarta, she graduated from Resource Global’s cohort program and the Kingdom Entrepreneurship Academy, where she now serves as Director. Marissa graduated from Tufts University with a B.S. degree, major in mechanical engineering and minor in entrepreneurial leadership. She maintains a passion for businesses that touch the middle and bottom of the pyramid.

 

May Lum

Senior Counsel, McDonald's Corporation

May is an in-house attorney with an American MNC based in Chicago. Her current practice is focused on global technology transactions. Her current commitments outside of work include serving at her church’s Sunday School and sitting as a member of the advisory council of an international evangelistic and missions-oriented organization. May was born and raised in Singapore. She came to the Lord just before getting called to the Singapore Bar, and several of her family members have since come to the Lord as well. Praise God!

 

Niki Santo

Co-founder & CEO, Swaza

A Harvard trained molecular biologist, Niki brings 20 years of executive leadership at the intersection of academia and entrepreneurship as well as a robust global network to drive Swaza's roadmap. Niki is a deep tech investor focused on innovation and strategy. She was part of the founding team that created and grew Brandman University to become a $180M revenue enterprise, acquired by University of Massachusetts in 2021. She serves as President of the Harvard Club of Silicon Valley. She is an advisor to the R42 Group, and is a mentor in its founders’ program, a foundry that builds new companies with founding teams. She has invested in and advised startups in AI, e-commerce, fintech, digital health, clean-tech, and medical devices. Niki also earned an MPhil degree in Biomedical Ethics at the University of Cambridge.

 

Scott Gifford

Client Executive, Alight Solutions

Scott is responsible for the overall business and relationship management for a portfolio of clients at Alight Solutions, the leading provider of benefits administration, cloud-based HR, and financial solutions. He previously worked as the Head of Human Resources at Wiss, Janey, Elstner & Associates, Inc, was the National Director at Catalyst, Christ Together, and worked at the Vardin Group and Hewitt Associates. He volunteers on the Board of Bosko, Barnabas Group of Chicago and is a foster family for Safe Families for Children.

 

Tim Innes

Vice President of Global Ministry, Living on the Edge

Tim Innes serves as Vice President of Global Ministry for Living on the Edge with Chip Ingram. An experienced leader, he has worked globally with the Luis Palau Evangelistic Association, the Billy Graham Association, and Miles McPherson. He has guided evangelism training and events across Europe, UK, Africa, United States, Canada, Caribbean, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Living on the Edge’s teachings are now in 28 languages and they have ministered to over 70,000 pastors and leaders in 60+ countries of the world.  Tim is an avid golfer when he’s not spending time with his family and/or doing ministry. He is married to his wife, Chandra, and has three teenage daughters. Their oldest is attending Liberty University for pre-law and the younger girls reside in Portland, Oregon.


 

Tony Chen

Managing Director, Kinyungu Ventures

Tony founded Kinyungu Ventures, which is an investment and advisory firm focused on early-stage and small businesses in East Africa. He co-founded Govzilla, a SaaS company he led as CEO for 8 years. Tony is also on the Investment Committee for Triphammer Ventures. His first company, Hospital Impact, was acquired by FierceMarkets in 2009. Prior to his start-up days, Tony worked 10 years in various corporate, innovation, and business development roles. Tony earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Northwestern Kellogg School of Management.

 

Tracy Thomas

Senior Vice President of Advancement, Biblica

Tracy oversees Biblica’s global fundraising and marketing program. She came to Biblica in 2016 with a passion to see ministry fundraising revolutionized for the changing giving environment. Tracy brings over 20 years of non-profit fundraising and marketing experience. Having worked for organizations large and small, with local, national and international reach, Tracy leverages a wide array of experience of working with generous families, building fundraising programs, and implementing innovative marketing solutions. Tracy previously held positions with The Latin School of Chicago, The Nature Conservancy, and Bright Hope. She is married to Tojy and they have three children – Soraya, Zach, and Caleb. They live in Jacksonville, Florida.


 

Tricia Felice

Partner, RedMark Group

Tricia is a partner at RedMark Group enterprise strategy consulting firm where she is responsible for all marketing, design and creative consulting. She has built and executed projects for startups, small businesses, and Fortune 500 companies, including brands such as PepsiCo, Disney, Twentieth Century Fox and HBO/Time Warner. Tricia specializes in Concept Viability, Creative Marketing, Go-To-Market Guidance, and Repositioning and Growth Strategy. She currently resides in Chicago where she spends her free time geeking out about the latest tech trends, Cleveland Sports and testing new recipes in the kitchen.
