Dave Evans is an entrepreneur who led the design of Apple's first mouse and was an early employee at Electronic Arts before becoming a Consulting Assistant Professor at Stanford University.He also co-wrote the book Designing Your Life: How to Build a Well-Lived, Joyful Life with Bill Burnett, which was published by Knopf in 2016 and became an instant #1 New York Times bestseller.

Now, in Designing Your Work Life: How to Thrive and Change and Find Happiness at Work (2020), Burnett and Evans apply that transformative thinking to the place where we spend more time than anywhere else: work. Evans is the co-creator of the in-demand "Designing Your Life" course at Stanford University. He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from Stanford University. He’s on a lifelong mission to help others find theirs.
