Pamela Gifford

Director of Communications

Pamela serves as the Global Communications Director, responsible for the marketing and communications of the organization. She leads a growing team of talented creatives worldwide who are committed to telling the stories and plans that emerge from within each Resource Global cohort.

Pamela served as the Vice President of Global Communications for International Justice Mission in Washington, D.C., and in senior roles at both Hewlett Packard (HP) and Hill and Knowlton Public Relations in San Francisco, working with corporate and start-up clients in finance, healthcare, and technology. She began her career in communications at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, where she was the founding editor of Capital Ideas, an alumni publication that introduced the school’s emerging research to the world. She was the founding president of the Chicago chapter of 4word (a Christian women’s business organization). Before her “formal” career, she ran a bookstore in London.  She graduated from the University of Illinois with a B.A. in English Literature and attended the University of Nottingham, UK.

Pamela and her family live in Glen Ellyn, IL, where she serves her church and other local and national non-profits and can be found happily experimenting in the kitchen during the long Chicago winters. In addition to working with Resource Global, she consults with a wide variety of for-and non-profit clients to help them uncover and articulate their mission and engage their most important audiences.
