ABOUT

The Resource Global (resourceglobal.org) US Virtual Cohort is designed for Christian marketplace leaders in their mid-20s to 30s. Beginning in January 2025, the cohort will meet monthly and be joined by special guest teachers and facilitators: Tommy Lee & Joyce Dalrymple.

  • Tommy Lee

    Facilitator / Founder and President, Resource Global

    Tommy Lee is the founder and president of Resource Global, an organization whose mission is to teach, mentor and connect  emerging Christian marketplace leaders around the world so they can renew their cities and workplaces for the Gospel. He oversees a global team of City Directors based in Chicago, Austin, Jakarta, Medan, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Nairobi, Pretoria/Johannesburg and Hong Kong. 

  • Joyce Koo Dalrymple

    Co-Facilitator

    Joyce Koo Dalrymple is a pastor, speaker, and podcast host. She leads Refuge for Strength, a women’s ministry focused on spiritual formation and listening to God in community. She is on the teaching team for Church360, a collection of house churches in the Wheaton area. A former television journalist and attorney, she frequently guest preaches at local churches and speaks at women’s events and retreats. Joyce received a BA from Stanford University, a JD from Boston College, and an MDiv from Metro Atlanta Seminary. She and her husband, Tim, have three daughters and live in Wheaton, IL.

Each participant will be part of the following:

  • Monthly cohort meetings from January to August 2025.

  • At least three-monthly meetings with a mentor that you will be assigned to.

  • Two live in person retreats and gatherings in Orlando, FL (February and June).

  • Large virtual gatherings which include cohorts from the 13 global cities that Resource Global is working in.

  • Development of a Gospel Action Plan (A Gospel Action Plan is a practical application that directly impacts their community, workplace, church, or city through the power and mission of the Gospel. It is born out of an initiative the cohort member has grown passionate about, integrated with the talents and skills God has given each of them).

  • Active Participation. This cohort is not designed to sit and listen to lectures but to dialogue with carefully selected leaders from the church, ministry, and marketplace.

Resource Global Virtual Cohort 2025 FAQs: 

  • The cost is ZERO but I will ask that you attend each session and to keep your cameras on so we can see each other.  The success of this cohort will be dependent on the people being present and engaged.  We will be pairing you up with a mentor for at least three sessions.  Please coordinate your meetings in a timely manner and be present during your meeting with your mentor.  

    After the cohort is done I will be asking you to consider a gift/donation of $1200 to Resource Global to contribute to our ongoing commitment to mentor Christian marketplace leaders.  Half of that will be used to support the following year's cohort (you're paying forward) and then the other half we will pick to help launch a cohort in another global city.  I love for you all to be involved in the next virtual cohort and the launch of the new cohort city.  This could be as a teacher/speaker, mentor, writer, facilitator, project manager, etc.  

    I will personally provide a matching amount so any gifts will be doubled.  One of the aspects of our Christian walk is growing as stewards of our time and our treasure.  Our entire premise during the cohort is that our life is not ours but rather we are a steward of what God has given us.  What does that mean to you?  It's not just giving the gift but also seeing what the gift is used for and how they are using it.  We have to be engaged stewards with our tangible resources of time, influence, and money.  

    We will also be spending a lot of time talking about the heart of a leader, character, as well as heart motives and heart issues of the individual. 

  • As part of the cohort I would like to meet together in person at least once.  I want to ask you all to join me in Orlando, FL  for five days (or for as long as you are able to join us) on the campus at Cru Headquarters.  During that time we will be in class and taught by Dr. Crawford Loritts on Leadership As An Identity, Tony Quintos, former Senior VP of Citigroup, and Karen Quintos, former Senior Vice President at Dell Computers.  We will also have other speakers and facilitators joining us during this time.  We have found over the years that these sort of in-person gatherings are an important time of mentoring, connection, and growth.

    This Virtual Cohort Gathering will be Monday to Friday, February 17th to the 21st.  We will begin Monday, February 17th at 9:00 AM and end by lunch on Friday, February 21st.  

  • Yes, there will be opportunities for all the cohorts to gather either in person or virtually, including guest speaker sessions.

    At Resource Global, we organize an annual gathering where all the cohorts from our 12 cities (both physical and virtual) come together to learn from each other, as well as ministry and Christian marketplace leaders. In 2023, the Global Cohort Gathering was held in Orlando, FL.  In 2024 it was held in Nairobi, Kenya.
