São Paulo?
São Paulo, the largest city in the Southern Hemisphere with more than 12 million people in its core and over 21 million in its metro area, is a global crossroads of culture, finance, technology, education, and creativity. It is a city of contrasts and possibilities — a place shaped by migration, diversity, and an endless flow of ideas, challenges, and reinvention.
As one of Latin America’s leading innovation hubs, São Paulo hosts a thriving ecosystem of startups, universities, cultural movements, and young professionals seeking purpose, opportunity, and belonging. The city is home to some of the most dynamic sectors in the region: finance, tech, design, the creative economy, education, and social impact. Its neighborhoods — from Pinheiros and Vila Madalena to Paulista and Faria Lima — form an ever-changing landscape where trends are born and leadership is formed.
Christian marketplace leaders in Brazil increasingly long to see their city shaped by men and women who combine deep faith, cultural intelligence, and a vision for the common good. In a complex urban environment like São Paulo — marked by both extraordinary potential and profound social gaps — there is a growing desire for leaders who can integrate spiritual formation, professional excellence, and service to the city.
By connecting with followers of Jesus across this expanding and influential metropolis, our goal is to cultivate a network of faith-filled marketplace leaders committed to renewing São Paulo — its companies, institutions, neighborhoods, and cultural spaces.
In 2024–2025, we aim to strengthen these relationships and prepare the launch of a cohort of emerging leaders, built in partnership with churches, organizations, and cultural movements across São Paulo. Our hope is to help shape a generation capable of stewarding influence, cultivating wholeness, and leading with wisdom in one of the most strategic cities of the world.
Meet our São Paulo City Director
Samuel de Lima, City Director of São Paulo is engaged in developing a city Gospel Ecosystem mobilizing leaders in São Paulo to work together in order to bring Gospel Renewal, raise a new generation of leaders, and promote Justice and Welfare in the city. He is a believer in the Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther model uniting church leaders, Market Place leaders, and Civic leaders to promote a collective impact. Samuel was born and raised in the city of São Paulo, and still very young worked at a Children's home in the interior of São Paulo having become its VP. He has also developed and training methodology for Executives and leaders to learn English in record time, this methodology united Principles from Neuroscience, Speechtherapy, and Gospel Values. He also used techniques to respond to Stress and trauma to help this students overcame their fears which led them to speak in 4 Days.
Samuel now is planting Mosaico Community Church in one of the most secularized areas of São Paulo. He he's worked with organizations such as Movement.org, and NXTMOVe, and has partnered with City to City, among other organizations. Samuel has a passion for Story telling, books, Sports, and loves singing.
